Get the opportunity, as a Project Manager, to report to the Senior Vice President of Advisory Services while being supported by our state of the art PMO. Guarantee your success in this fast-paced environment by efficiently managing large, complex, enterprise level projects at multiple locations. The Project Manager will plan, execute, and complete assigned projects according to PMO guidelines. Get the PMO to define your success rate in a structured way so that your hard work does not go unnoticed. Primary Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business and clinical goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop project budgets and manage to ensure objectives are met within scope and budget.
- Identify and assemble appropriate resources, assign responsibilities, and manage project teams.
- Create, update and maintain detailed project plans for assigned projects, including clear milestones.
- Oversee project logistics such as timelines, status dashboards, schedules, agenda development, production and distribution of meeting minutes, and preparation of reports on project status and activities to various stakeholders.
- Adopt a proactive approach to identify risks to project success and develop effective action plans for issue resolution.
- Ensure alignment between executive sponsors, stakeholders, project team members, and external resources regarding progress toward goal achievement, deliverables, critical factors, and obstacles.
- Maintain all project data, deliverables, and documentation including a Risk Register.
- Create and/or revise project management protocols, tools, and processes while working under the auspices of a PMO.
Qualifications
Requirements
- 3+ years experience managing projects in complex environments.
- 3+ years experience implementing Electronic Health Records (EHR) and/or Practice Management Systems (PMS).
- Strong understanding of project management methodology, utilization rates and project profitability.
- Healthcare technology management and implementation experience.
- Multi-specialty physician practice organization experience.
- Effective leadership, decision-making, and conflict resolution capabilities.
- Change management experience.
- Experience working remotely and traveling up to 50%
- Strong written, oral, and presentation skills for audience appropriate delivery
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Assets
- GE Centricity Practice Management and EMR product knowledge.
- Allscripts Practice Management and EHR product knowledge.
- PMI credentials such as PMP, CAPM, PgMP, PMI-ACP, PMI-RMP or PMI-SP
- IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification.
- Experience working with a PMO
- C-suite exposure.
- Experience with Salesforce.com.
- Bachelor degree in related field.
